The Bodice:

To create Cinderella’s bodice we combine the firm fit and support of a traditional corset with modern day comfort. Our corsets are made from many layers of soft material fused into shape and supported by a combination of flexible boning and elastic. We are very pleased with our unique way of making corsets. The result is a bodice which keeps its shape perfectly while retaining flexibility of movement.

Cinderella’s upper bodice is separated into three different panels, the front, side and back panel. Each one is made from different fabrics which are laid out in flattering and becoming lines.

It may not be possible to see all the fine detailed artwork of the gown in these pictures. To help your imagination we will try to describe some of the fine details for you.

-The front panel of Cinderella’s bodice is made from aqua blue crushed velvet, with our own special baroque design of off white embroidery with lavish pearl and glass beadwork.

-The side panels are of ice blue velvet, with the same lavish embroidery and beadwork as along the front.

-The back panel, which is laced up corset fashion, is made out of aqua blue crushed velvet and is also lavishly beaded in a different but complimentary pattern. The beadwork on the back panel is done with pearl, glass, some blue crystals and a touch of tiny gold ones. The top of it is finished by a delicately beaded scalloped ending, which emphasizes the sweet femininity of this gown.

Along the bottom V of the bodice is a soft, peach, satin silk sash with the recurrent theme of our own unique baroque embroidery and lavish pearl design.

Flattering horizontal lines separate the aqua blue panel from the ice blue and are drawn by scalloped lace trimming and beaded with pearls. A more delicate lace trimming with stunning blue crystal beads separates the blue panels from the peach sash.

The neckline alone is a work of art made from three layers of gold embroidered, lace trimming; it is entirely covered in blue crystal beads of varied shapes and shades. It also has as a line of tiny gold beads along the edge. A gold brooch with a blue opal in the middle blends in perfectly. The over all effect is like a majestic gold jewellery piece, entirely laden with dazzling blue jewels of varied shades, shapes and sizes.

The Sleeves:

The sleeves repeat the designs and fabrics of the bodice and skirt bringing the whole gown to its perfection. They start with alternating aqua blue crushed velvet and peach satin silk, overlaid with the aforementioned hand painted lace. These materials are all generously ruffled together to create a real princess puff. The fitted sleeves are of ice blue velvet with the baroque beaded lace overlaying it. They are laced together with peach satin laces, which tie the scalloped edges together; this gives the sleeves a real fairy tale look. Separating the puff from the fitted sleeve is the same gold scalloped lace as on the queenly neckline. Once again they are decked in tiny blue crystals and decorated with three gold and blue opal brooches per under puff. And finally to end these intricate sleeves we have the baroque beaded lace cuff, which commences in a V that is decorated by delicate lace trimming, with blue crystal beads and a gold and blue opal brooch right in the middle of the hand.

The Skirt:

As you can see in the pictures this is no normal skirt. It is a full elaborate skirt with a sewn in petticoat supported by a light hoop which holds the fabrics in place and gives you the comfort of not having any material touching your legs. Three layers of approximately 35 yards of ruffled and draped materials give this skirt its unique look.

The front panel of the skirt is made from the same luxurious aqua blue crushed velvet as the bodice. It is overlaid with beautifully hand painted beaded lace.

The rest of the skirt also has the aqua blue, crushed velvet as its bottom layer, but this time it has an ice blue, embroidered chiffon generously overlaying it. These two materials together create a soft and flowing two-toned effect with depth and shine.

The back of the skirt has a fanciful flap which consists of the peach satin silk with a layer of ethereal silk georgette overlaying it. Ruffled along the bottom of the peach satin flap is the aforementioned beaded baroque style lace. Over the peach flap is a smaller flap of aqua blue, crushed velvet with the same beautifully embroidered and veloured chiffon as on the front of the skirt.

Bordering the front panel of the skirt are peach satin silk drapings, overlaid by the same stunning hand painted lace as down the front panel, clasped with the same gold lace trimming as along the neckline. These gold clasps are embedded with blue crystals and the same brooch as on the neckline but this time with a pearl center.

All along the hem of the skirt is the same baroque beaded lace’s scalloped ending.
